VMFA Invites Your Organization to Become a Community Partner!
This partner category includes nonprofit entities such as art centers, galleries and associations, libraries, senior homes, pre-schools, historic sites, churches, and hospitals.

How to Become a Community Partner
You can print and fill out a membership form and return it to VMFA with your $25 fee. This form is a PDF file requiring Adobe® Acrobat® Reader. The use of the following notation, “A Partner of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts,” after your organization’s official name is recommended for purposes of reflecting the partnership between the institution and VMFA.

Educational Exhibitions(Free)* 
Ready-to-hang educational exhibitions are available. Some feature image/text panels that explore diverse cultures and topics complementing Virginia's Standards of Learning objectives, while others are brilliant reproductions of the world's greatest art from the VMFA collection. Some are framed photographs or posters of other fascinating topics.

Media Resources(Free) 
With the largest art-related audiovisual loan collection of any museum in the country, VMFA provides Statewide Partners access to more than 2,000 DVDs, CD-ROMs, videotapes, films, educational discovery kits, and posters.

Artist Workshops(Partner Discount)
Intensive master classes in the visual and performing arts allow children and adults to work closely with professional artists of state, regional, and national reputation.

Speakers on the Arts(Partner Discount)
This lecture series features curators, educators, and art historians who share their expertise on a wide variety of exciting and informative topics with adult audiences statewide.

Educator Workshops(Partner Discount)
Information-packed workshops show educators how to use works of art to teach Virginia’s Standards of Learning objectives across the school curriculum.

Fellowship Opportunities(Free)
Privately endowed financial awards are made annually to professional, graduate, and undergraduate Virginia artists.

Technical Assistance(Free)
VMFA’s expert staff provides professional consultation on an array of museum subjects.

Publications (Free)
Community Partners receive a subscription to VMFA's quarterly magazine, myVMFA, program promotional materials, press kits, etc., plus opportunities for publicity on the Statewide Calendar section of the VMFA website.
